That’s why we’re proud to be working closely with our engaged tenants to make sure you have the information you need to keep yourself and your family safe.
Recently, our tenant engagement group reviewed the fire safety information we provide and felt there was more we could do.
As a result, we’ve uploaded a range of useful fire safety resources to our website for all of our residents – all designed to help you understand what to do in the event of a fire.
In addition, all residents who live in blocks of flats, will receive an additional A4 fire safety leaflet, thoughtfully designed by our engaged tenant John Moore with input from the group.
This leaflet outlines the steps to take if a fire occurs in your building. When this arrives, we strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to read through it – it could make all the difference in an emergency.
The group is also turning its attention to the risks associated with e-bikes and e-scooters. When not charged or stored correctly, the batteries in these devices can pose serious fire hazards – as highlighted by a recent incident. More guidance on this topic will be shared soon.
