Listening to complaints

If you’re unhappy with our service as your landlord, and have already given us a chance to put matters right, you can make a complaint.

Complaints can be raised by:

  • using our online form,
  • calling 0300 123 2224,
  • writing to us at: Housing Landlord Complaints, Somerset Council, County Hall, Taunton, TA1 4DY, or
  • talking with any member of staff you have direct contact with.

We’ll contact you to let you know your complaint has been received before investigating and responding to your concerns.

Please note that we usually only accept complaints made within 12 months of the incident that led to the complaint.

The Housing Ombudsman is unable to investigate a complaint until our complaints process has been completed, but can be approached at any time for guidance.
