ARMC’s financial, operations, and medical staff teams have finalized plans to streamline processes to be as efficient as possible. The efforts are gradually reaping results.
On another front I would like to update you on how we are reimagining health care delivery for San Bernardino County with the aim of becoming a hub for advanced medicine and medical education for our region and the trusted health care provider for the Inland Empire. We are embarking on a significant expansion of our ambulatory services and looking at new off-campus medical office buildings and continue to free up space on the second floor of the Outpatient Care Center for future inpatient growth strategies. In addition to growing our physical footprint, we are growing our mobile medical clinic fleet so as to better serve our residents and patients. Since the county is more than 20,000 square miles, ARMC’s reach must move beyond brick-and-mortar buildings to mobile and digital health solutions. On the drawing board are also plans for additional clinics and locations. Within our main hospital campus we are also pushing ahead with a focus on expanding our robust clinical sub-specialty programs and capabilities in alignment with our mission.
I also want to remind you of our “why.” We are providing exceptional patient care by living our mission and values with each choice we make. Employee engagement is not just something we talk about. We are laser-focused on engagement toward furthering our goal of becoming a top employer in the region. We do this by keeping you updated during quarterly Employee Town Halls, regular rounding, Ask Andrew responses, and dozens of hospital events throughout the year. We recently got the results of our Employee Survey, and I encourage you to share the results and discuss any opportunities for improvement. We want to engage and learn more about our team members, listen to your perspectives on health care delivery, and align with our mission because we believe what you do matters. We commit to a culture of patient-centered quality care becoming the number one hospital for patient care and the top health care employer in the Inland Empire. We are One Team, One Mission!
