We’re excited to announce the launch of the Tri-City Animal Shelter’s brand-new website, designed to better serve the community and make it easier to connect with resources for pets in need.
The updated site gives residents simple ways to adopt a pet, find a lost animal with our new interactive map, or access low-cost animal services. It also introduces several major enhancements, including convenient online pet licensing through the shelter’s new partner, DocuPet, improved forms for filing animal-related reports, and expanded community cat resources.
For those interested in giving back, the website highlights multiple ways to support the shelter. From donating, volunteering in person with the animals, and even helping in other roles at the shelter that don’t involve direct animal handling, we now offer a streamlined volunteer process. With new online training portals, volunteers can complete training from home before coming in, making it simpler and more accessible to get started.
Additionally, the adoptable pet profiles feature “diaries” complete with videos and stories, so community members can get to know the animals before visiting the shelter. Our Low-Cost Services page also spotlights local pet pantries, affordable spay and neuter services for owned pets and community cats, and resources to help families access veterinary care.
