This message confirms we received your application for unemployment insurance (UI) benefits.

We are reviewing your claim and processing it in the order in which it was received. It takes up to 4 weeks to begin receiving UI benefits if you are eligible. The review process may take longer if your claim is complex, if your claim is missing information, or if you lost employment for any reason other than lack of work. 

To receive weekly UI benefits, you must certify your eligibility for benefits each week. You will soon be required to certify for your first week of benefits.
