
CAG Somerset (Community Action Groups Somerset) is hosting its Repair, Reuse, Reimagine Skillshare event on Saturday 8 March. Celebrating National Repair Week, the event aims to inspire communities and share ideas.
The event is an opportunity to learn about reuse, repair and waste reduction as well as meet likeminded people. There will be talks and workshops with people who are working on waste reduction in the community.

Tech Amnesty and Digital Divide - Join The Fixy project for an insightful session on the tech circular economy and solutions to bridge the digital divide - plus bring your unwanted tech to donate.
Community Kitchen Magic - Crewkerne Community Kitchen will guide you through setting up a “Chop and Chat” session and community fridge.
Frugal cooking-using root to flower and making food from scrap - Watch Lesley Gates whip up delicious meals with food surplus.
Puncture repair with On Your Bike – Bridgwater
Somerset Council - Join Beth’s talk to explore reusable options for nappies, wipes, adult continence, and periods. Learn about the benefits, how they work, and where to get them. Plus find out about an exciting opportunity for local groups interested in becoming a cloth nappy library. See and touch different products. Networking and discussion - Enjoy lunch provided by Victoria Park Community Centre and indulge in plenty of tea and cake to fuel meaningful discussions around sharing and reuse.
