Opportunity to hear from businesses about their views and experiences of ASB and knife crime

An engineer in orange Hi-Viz taking notes, captioned: Research Opportunity - business owners views on uniformed patrols for ASB and knife crime.

If you’re a business owner or member of staff of a business that works in any of the following areas, Ipsos UK would be interested to speak to you:

  • Yeovil (around the town centre such as the High Street or bus station; Huish; or Stiby Road)
  • Taunton (around the town centre such as Parade roundabout, East Reach and the High Street)
  • Bridgwater (town centre near River Parrett)
  • Glastonbury (High Street and Market Place)

Ipsos UK, an independent research organisation, has been commissioned by the UK government to evaluate a hotspot response aimed at tackling ASB and knife crime through increasing uniformed presence in specific areas. These areas have been identified as areas with high levels of ASB and crime. Ipsos UK is looking to conduct interviews with staff and owners of businesses in areas where these patrols are taking place.

Interviews would last up to 1 hour and be conducted online or by telephone at a time convenient to you. You would also receive a £50 thank-you voucher for taking part. Interviews are being held this month.

If see if you’re eligible to take part or for more information, please contact Maddy at uk-pa-hotspotresponseeval-qual@ipsos.com, providing your business name, sector, and address.
