Consider serving the City of Fremont as a commissioner or advisory board member! The City of Fremont Community Services Department currently has vacancies on its Recreation Commission, Youth Advisory Commission, and George W. Patterson House Advisory Board.  

Current vacancies include the following:

Recreation Commission – One vacancy

The Commission meets the first Wednesday of each month with special meetings occurring the third Wednesday of each month if needed and provides policy recommendations regarding community recreation programs to public officials and ensures that recreation programs receive adequate financial and community support.

Youth Advisory Commission – Nine vacancies

The Advisory Commission meets the first Monday of each month (except July & August) with special meetings scheduled as needed and identifies issues and concerns of special importance to teens and communicates those to City Council and encourages teen leadership and responsibility through involvement.

George W. Patterson House Advisory Board – Three vacancies

The Board meets on the fourth Wednesday every other month (January, March, May, July, September, and November) and provides advice, guidance and fundraising for the operation of the George W.
