Vehicle was traded in and towed to dealership    
Tow truck left vehicle on service road, which was unusual  
     
PSA 610   March 17 -18 2024  
Front Royal Rd    
2003 unregistered motorcycle on unregistered, untitled trailer with fraudulent tags  
Victim’s father loaded trailer with motorcycle and other property in victim’s driveway  
Sometime overnight, the trailer and contents were taken.

2015 Ford Explorer     
With prior approval, victim parked overnight while chaperoning a school trip  
Victim may have dropped key fob near the vehicle    
Vehicle recovered by PWCO PD abandoned in a wooded area near Occoquon.

’17 Audi with VA tag stolen from residence, one set of keys which are missing  
Victim’s brother may have taken vehicle without permission,  
Victim cannot get in contact with him and unknown where vehicle is

Driver side window shattered.    
Recovered same day by PWCO at the Dale City rest stop with 2 flat tires.

’14 Lexus IS350 with VA tag stolen from parking spot

Loisdale Road  - Smoke Island Vape Shop    
Suspects approached business on bicycles, shattering the glass door with a large rock.  
Suspect gained entry and stole vape products.    
     
PSA 610   March 16-19, 2024 1500-0800hrs   
Backlick Rd, Springfield    
Maintenance room of apartment complex broken into  
$5200 worth of tools stolen from room    
No damage done to door and locks had just been replaced  
     
PSA 620   April 1, 2024 0345hrs   
Loisdale Road  - VA Smoke Up Vape Shop    
Two suspects gained entry by shattering the glass door with a large rock.  
Suspects stole various vape related products.    
     
PSA 630   March 31, 2024 2009hrs   
Gum Street    
Mother and daughter home when suspect kicked open the front door.  
Suspect fled when the victims screamed.    
     
     
 Larceny    
     
PSA 610   May 1, 2022- March 27, 2024  
Backlick Road – Avis Rental    
Sometime in the past 2 years, 2 “Drive Away” tags were taken from the business.  
Not known if tags had been previously displayed on a rental car.  
Victim alerted to theft when tags were flagged on EZ Pass lanes in MD.  
     
PSA 601   March 21, 2024 1714 hrs  
Valmarana Way, Alexandria    
Community members reported a suspect stealing packages from doorsteps  
Using Ring Doorbell video information was shared via a group chat.  
A witness reported a suspect matching the description on Edsall Rd (Shell Gas Station)  
Suspect was found in possession of stolen items from multiple homes as well as narcotics  
     
PSA 610  March 27, 2024 1500 hours  
Backlick Road     
Suspect entered victim’s back yard and stole 2 scooters.  
Event captured on victim’s home security camera.    
     
PSA 611  March 28, 2024 1010 hours  
Backlick Road     
Suspects entered victim’s back yard and attempted to steal items from a shed.  
When victim made themselves known, suspect fled on an electric bike

Multiple high end power tools stolen from vehicle

’22 Tesla entered while at shop    
Credit cards stolen from vehicle and attempted to be used at Home Depot  
Cameras showed an unknown male entering multiple vehicles in lot

’17 Cadillac XT5 with rear passenger window shattered  
Purse, which was on rear seat, stolen    
Related to other larcenies which happened on same day

’12 Toyota Corolla rifled through while parked on the street  
Vehicle believed to be locked and driver’s side door no longer closes properly  
Cell phone, passport, and prescription glasses stolen

’19 Jeep with front driver’s side window shattered    
Victim’s purse, which was on passenger floorboard, was stolen  
Credit cards attempted to be used at Kingstowne Walmart for $500  
Alex City PD arrived at Walmart as same time as officer investigating same offense  
Similar incidents happened at Hayfield HS in similar time frame

’18 Toyota Camry and ’18 Honda Odyssey both left unlocked and rummaged through  
iPhone 12, cologne, and cash stolen

Victim is property management, may have left vehicle unsecured.  
Numerous tools, computer, electronics taken from back seat.

Sometime overnight, both temp tags were taken from 2018 Toyota Corolla

Sometime overnight, an iphone charger ws taken from 2016 Toyota Corolla  
Entry gained by smashing rear passenger window.

Sometime overnight, both temp tags were taken from 2018 Toyota Corolla  
     
     
 Simple Assault     
     
PSA 610   March 1, 2024 2228hrs   
Hechinger Dr, Springfield    
Two subjects were being disorderly and were asked to leave establishment  
One subject rushed one of the security personnel to get back in and was taken to the ground  
No injuries were sustained and no parties wanted to prosecute  
     
PSA 621   March 10, 2024 1234hrs   
Fairfield Pl, Alexandria    
Vehicle was backing out of driveway and was involved in a crash  
Four individuals,  got into a verbal and then physical altercation regarding the crash  
Camera showed two individuals starting the physical altercation and doing most of the shoving  
They were issued summonses for simple assault    
     
PSA 610   March 15, 2024 2014hrs   
Hechinger Dr, Springfield    
Victim stated an unknown subject was being disorderly in the parking lot  
Subject came up to him and struck him in the face    
     
PSA 620   March 18, 2024 1637hrs   
Springfield Mall, Springfield (@H&M)    
Two customers became irate that it was taking too long to complete a transaction  
Both began yelling and cursing at the employee    
One customer grabbed a yellow wet floor sign and threw it at the employee which went over her head
One customer attempted to grab victim’s phone as she recorded the customers  
     
PSA 630   March 20, 2024, 1852hrs   
Hayfield and Manchester Blvd    
Two motorists exchanged words while stopped in traffic  
Suspect threw a bottle of Coca-Cola into the open window of the victim  
No injuries or damage    
     
PSA 631   March 22, 2024 1457hrs   
Telegraph Rd, Alexandria (@Hayfield HS)    
Student was punched by another student at school    
     
PSA 630   March 26, 2024 1527hrs   
Franconia Rd and Telegraph Rd, Alexandria    
Road Rage incident    
Offender drove up to victims and began yelling at them for driving in the neighborhood  
Offender then followed victims to Franconia Rd and Telegraph Rd intersection   
Offender stood in front of his car, held up a knife, and stated he wasn’t scared  
Victims continued to drive to track practice    
     
PSA 621   March 27, 2024 2024hrs   
Oakwood Road    
Dispute between coworkers over repayment of borrowed money  
Victim reported being struck in the head by both offenders  
     
PSA 600   March 3, 2024 0223hrs   
Little River Tpke, Annandale (Report Location)    
Assault occurred in Mason station area on Columbia Pike  
Victim assaulted outside Columbia Pike location by unknown individual  
     
PSA 620   March 8, 2024 0500hrs   
Springfield Mall, Springfield (@LA Fitness)    
Unknown subject entered the business and attempted to go to the gym area without checking in  
Employee and victim, a customer, intervened and spoke to the subject  
Subject was making incomprehensible statements and attempted to punch the victim, but missed  
Instead the subject smacked the victim’s hat off his head  
     
PSA 611  March 29, 2024 2233hrs   
Hanover Ave- Church Temporary Shelter    
Shelter staff requested police to remove an unwelcomed individual.  
During the investigation, the offender became agitated and threw food items at another guest.  
Officers made on-view arrest.  Offender held on no bond.  
     
PSA 600  March 30, 2024 0450hrs   
Little River Tpk – CVS    
Initially dispatched as a commercial robbery    
Suspects gathered unknown merchandise in a shopping basket.  
Suspects walked out without paying and unprovoked, sprayed victim (cashier) with pepper spray.  
     
PSA 621   March 21, 2024 2312hrs   
Willowood Ln, Alexandria    
Victim and suspect met in DC over drinks.    
While driving home, a physical altercation ensued (no injuries)  
Suspect abandoned victim on the roadside near his home.  
Victim arrived home to find minor damage done to his vehicle.  
     
PSA 610   March 10, 2024 2345hrs   
Brandon Ave, Springfield (@Holiday Inn Express)    
Hotel security confronted offender who had rifled through employee areas   
Caught by surprise, offender grabbed a hammer and held it in a manner as though to hit the victim  
Offender dropped hammer and ran out a back door of the hotel  
Offender was then observed on cameras trying door handles in the parking lot  
Officers were able to identify offender and located him a short distance away  
Offender was taken into custody and found to be in possession of ID’s and cash taken from vehicles  
     
     
 Vehicle Tampering     
     
PSA 601   March 14, 2024 1040hrs   
General Washington Dr, Alexandria (@United Auto Body Shop)  
Victim accidentally parked vehicle in spot reserved for body shop  
Owner of body shop arrived and observed vehicle in his spot  
Owner let the air out of the front tires of the vehicle to “teach them a lesson”  
Victim returned to vehicle and an altercation occurred  
Victim claimed he was struck by the offender’s vehicle when offender was moving vehicle
