Well done to all at East Ayrshire Carers Centre, which was recently awarded ‘Carer Positive Engaged’ status by Scottish Government initiative, Carer Positive.
This award recognises employers who support working carers, spanning three levels of achievement from ‘Engaged’ to ‘Exemplary’.
Fiona Robson, Co-CEO of the centre, told us more:
“We are really proud of our staff team, many of whom have unpaid caring responsibilities, and are committed to making working life less stressful for those we employ.
Our team is keen to engage with other organisations who may want to consider applying to be part of the Carer Positive movement.
We were presented with our certificate on Thursday 23 November to coincide with Carers’ Rights Day.”
