Ongoing support with Epic

F1 for help smallFollowing the departure of most of our Epic Floor Walkers last Friday (20 October), we want to remind all staff about how you can access support with Epic if you need it.

Press F1

You can press the F1 button (or function + F1, depending on the computer you are using) on your keyboard to open the online help menu when you’re using Epic.

This 'Learning home dashboard' is the quickest way to find tip-sheets and support if you’re not sure what to do. It is configured to your profile so please read our guide to using F1 and how to manage your dashboard if you need further information.

Training sessions

The Apollo Programme team are holding regular training sessions for staff and Digital Champions to help you better understand Epic. Visit our Epic launch updates Kwiki page for more information about what is happening and when.

Digital Champions and managers

If you do still require support having checked in the above places, you can speak to your local Digital Champion.

We have been doing a significant amount of work, including through bitesize training sessions, to ensure that our Digital Champions feel confident to continue providing support to their local teams. This includes supporting colleagues to use their applications and complete their workflows, reinforcing best practice and efficient use of Epic, and being the first line of support if colleagues have any concerns or need assistance.

Remember, if you have any urgent concerns or escalations, please raise these with your local management team.

Support with accessing Epic

Please refer to the ‘Training and access quick start guidance’ here in the first instance if you or your colleagues have any issues logging in to Epic.

Please note that all links to Kwiki, Kingsweb and Kingsdocs are internal links and are only accessible from a networked PC.
