Epic training: support with Login Labs and EUPAs

Epic film v2Support is available for staff that were unable to complete either their Login Labs or their End User Proficiency Assessment (EUPA) during their face-to-face learning.

Both the Login Labs and EUPAs are vital parts of your Epic training and must be completed so you can have full access to the system on 5 October. If you haven't completed one or both of these, you can access support via:

Login Labs support

Login labs are designed to check that staff can access the live version of Epic to undertake the core tasks for their role. If you were unable to complete your Log in Lab during your face-to-face session, please do so as soon as possible. You can do this by:

  • Joining one of the virtual drop-in sessions, taking place Mondays to Fridays at the following times (from Wednesday 6 September until Monday 25 September): 8.30am, 9am, 12pm, 12.30pm, 1pm, 1.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm, 4pm. Click here to join a session.
  • Guidance is available here on how to complete you Login Lab on the College of Healthcare Learning Hub. Login to the Hub in the same way as you did when you compelted your e-Learning or booked your face-to-face learning. If you choose this option and run into difficulty or are unsure about any of the questions asked, please attend a drop-in session instead.

EUPA support

The EUPA is the final stage of your core training and it is important that you complete this assessment to complete your Epic certification. If you were unable to complete your assessment during the face-to-face session due to technical issues, or you answered three or more questions incorrectly, you will be able to complete the assessment by logging into the College of Healthcare Learning Hub:

  • Please log-in to the Learning Hub as you did when you completed your e-Learning and/or booked your face-to-face learning.
  • You’ll find your EUPA in the ‘extra recommended learning’ section of your Apollo training – please complete this as soon as possible.
  • The assessment is the final part of your mandatory Epic training and it is important that you complete it to gain access to the Epic system.
