Plus, enjoy hot drinks and gift bags to stay warm and well this winter.

Wilstock and Stockmoor Country Park Wassail Activity Day

Friends of Wilstock and Stockmoor Country Park are inviting residents to take part in a traditional winter wassail and activity day, celebrating and blessing the orchards for a healthy harvest. Visitors can enjoy a range of nature‑connected activities, including bird‑box making, weaving willow headdresses, creating wood‑cookie necklaces, replenishing the bug hotel, completing an orchard quest, and making bird feeders – all alongside seasonal treats such as hot spiced apple juice and toasted marshmallows. The event encourages community members to come together in the orchard, learn practical ways to support local biodiversity, and take part in an uplifting cultural tradition.
