Recruiting: Reset and Reboot (1 min. read)

Attracting and hiring the next generation of talent for the Colorado State Patrol remains a top priority for all career streams across the agency. To meet these needs, our recruiters' strategies and tactics will be evolving to help us stay relevant and keep CSP competitive for talent in the market.

Looking at Generation X, millennials and even the upcoming Generation Z, these generations of talent are raised in an on-demand and technology-connected world. This creates unique preferences in how they communicate and consider job opportunities.

Will we still do some in-person fairs, booths and workshops? YES! But we will be more selective and lean into the technologies that current job seekers use in their search for employment.

Coming soon, we'll be sharing ways that all members can help with the recruiting efforts of CSP. For now, if you receive an inquiry about ANY of the career paths at the Patrol, you can provide them with the following information:

Website: https://csp.colorado.gov/employment

Email a Recruiter: cdps_csp_hiring@state.co.us

Call a Recruiter: 303-239-5864

Please get to know the two new recruiters reporting to the Sgt. of Public Affairs, available to promote and serve all career paths at the Patrol.
