More than 80 residents attended a recent Cost of Living event as part of a Holloway Neighbourhood Group meeting. Attendees were able to access help on a range support services for all. There was advice on energy-saving tips, financial help, welfare benefit assessments, employment opportunities as well as around mental health and wellbeing.

Residents were interested in the new term’s courses at the Recovery College. There are an array of courses focusing on the recovery journey, mental health conditions, wellbeing and self-development with some courses in person and others remote or pre-recorded. Residents commented on the helpful and kind support from everyone at the event. One person said they were anxious about leaving their home, but now felt more positive and pleased to have attended.
