InPhase replaces Datix at the Trust

InPhase logoOn Monday 3 April, InPhase replaced Datix and became the Trust's new local risk management system (LRMS).

Datix had been the LRMS at King’s since 2008, and was the Trust’s first digital incident recording system. The Trust explored alternative systems that offer improvements to our processes and support our BOLD strategy vision to provide outstanding care through being digitally-enabled.

The new system will manage all incidents, complaints, PALS, legal cases, risks, and patient safety alerts.

Incidents on Datix have been put into read-only mode and and all new incidents should now be reported to InPhase. Your login details will be sent separately by email.

To see InPhase as one of the six apps you see on KingsApps, please see the instructions on how to change KingsApps on the KingsApps Kwiki page.

For the time being, Greatix reporting continues to be undertaken via Datix using the existing Datix link, but this will move to a new “King’s Stars” module housed on InPhase in the next couple of weeks. All the data from Datix and Greatix, including legacy versions, will be accessible via the InPhase system.

The roll out of InPhase across the Trust will enhance learning from patient safety incidents, whilst ensuring compliance with the new Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).

Training is still available for staff and details of dates can be found here. You can also learn more about InPhase by reading our frequently asked questions document.

InPhase drop-in sessions

The Trust's InPhase team are holding virtual drop-in sessions so staff can learn more about how to report incidents on the new local risk management system (LRMS).

The sessions will all take place on Teams, and will be your opportunity to ask the team any questions and learn how to review and manage reported incidents.

Details of the sessions are below:
