The federal govermnemt is ending additional CalFresh Emergency Allotments at the end of February that were originally issued to eligible households in response to the COVID-19 pandemic from March 2020.
In accordance with the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, emergency benefits will end Feb. 28, 2023.; CalFresh recipients will continue to receive their regular benefits as stated on their Notice of Action after a final emergency allotment is issued in March 2023.
Customers may submit information regarding changes in circumstances, such as medical expenses, shelter deductions, dependent care costs and changes in employment/income by signing into BenefitsCal.
