You are receiving this notice due to an outstanding non-willful debt for the Lost Wages Assistance Program (LWA). NYSDOL has determined this debt to be non-collectible and has removed all outstanding non-willful debt for this federal program attached to your account.

Please note: this debt is for benefits that were paid between August 2020 and September 2020 and is different from any debt relating to other federal unemployment programs paid during the COVID-19 pandemic. Any other debt you may have from other unemployment or pandemic programs or for willful LWA will remain on file, and collections will continue on that balance due. If you have a payment plan to repay your debt, your minimum monthly payment amount will stay the same.

To check your debt balance, sign in to your account at labor.ny.gov/signin. On the My Online Services page, select “Unemployment Services” and then select “View Payment History.” If you have any remaining debt, it will be listed near the top of the page.
