The San Bernardino County Library invites residents to celebrate the holiday season at the Library Christmas Events.

Enjoy an amazing experience and meet some favorite characters, including Santa Claus.  Enjoy a variety of fun-filled crafts, face painting, balloon artists, and more. 

Visitors should bring their library cards, as every 15 items checked out during the events earns visitors an opportunity drawing ticket for a chance to win awesome prizes. 

All activities are free and open to all ages.The events will take place in the following locations:

• 8 - 4 to 7 p.m., James S. Thalman Library, 14020 City Center Dr., Chino Hills
• 13 - 4 to 6 p.m., Newton T. Bass Apple Valley Library, 14901 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley
• 13 - 4 to 7 p.m., Lewis Library & Technology Center, 8437 Sierra Ave., Fontana
• 13 - 4 to 6 p.m., Sam J. Racadio Library & Environmental Learning Center, 7863 Central Ave., Highland
• 15 - 4 to 7 p.m., Hesperia Branch Library, 9650 7^th Ave., Hesperia

Back by popular demand, the County Library presents its Holiday Countdown with a cascade of amazing rewards. From Dec. 1 through Dec. 30, people can earn a block character mini figure for every 30 items checked out. Don’t miss out because this incentive reward will be available for a limited time only. During this upcoming festive season of activities, the Holiday Countdown keeps the joy of reading front and center. Design of block characters vary per branch, and while supplies last.
