Fremont Celebrates America Recycles Day
On Tuesday, November 15, the City of Fremont will celebrate America Recycles Day by recognizing the value recycling brings to our community and promoting local recycling resources.
Residents can do their part by recycling on this day and every day. Below is some helpful information for recycling specific items in Fremont:
- Cardboard, paper, metal, and glass and plastic bottles can be placed directly into blue recycling carts.
- Electronic waste, household batteries, and cooking oil can be dropped off at the Republic Services Customer Service Center at 42600 Boyce Rd. (Hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm).
- Mattresses and/or box springs (up to four total) can be dropped off for free at the Fremont Recycling & Transfer Station at 41149 Boyce Rd. (Hours: Monday-Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). Items must be free of damage, excessive soiling, bed bugs, and cannot be mixed with other waste.
