Visitors to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) used to be greeted by Tara Mowery for in-person, guided tours to learn about NLM through the Visible Human exhibit, the data center, the stacks, and the History of Medicine’s Reading Room. The pandemic ended tours of the physical space, and requests for a virtual alternative emerged. In response, OCPL created the new NLM Welcome Page to introduce visitors to the world’s largest biomedical library by highlighting NLM’s cutting-edge research, rich historical collections, and everything in between. Please take a few moments to visit the page and go on a tour with us!
