The Tri-City Animal Shelter lobby will reopen July 6, 2021. Shelter hours will be from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
The Shelter will continue to schedule appointments for the following services online or by phone; appointments may be available outside the regularly scheduled shelter hours:
The shelter has implemented a new appointment system for dog and cat adoptions. Please visit the shelter’s website for information about the process and the adoption application. Kennels will remain closed to the public.
The City encourages you to try to locate the owner of found pets prior to turning them in to the shelter. If you have found a stray pet but wish to keep the animal at your home, Fremont Municipal Code requires the finder to notify the animal shelter within eight hours. See our tips to reunite lost pets with their owner.
If you have lost your pet, please look online for the animals in our care and tips to help you find your lost pet. If your pet appears to be in our care, please contact us to schedule an appointment for redemption.
