The City of Fremont is now accepting applications from residents with expertise and/or interest related to various travel modes to fill two open seats on the Mobility Commission: Transit Representative and Mobility Impairments Representative.

Commissioners assist the City with the implementation of actions included in adopted transportation plans, including the Mobility Action Plan and other plans related to traffic safety, traffic congestion management, school access, walking, bicycling, new technologies, regional transportation, and advocacy for funding. Mobility Commission meetings are held quarterly starting with March 2021 at 7:00 pm on the third Wednesday of the month. Other meetings include an annual work session with the City Council and other mobility-related City events.
