Hi - I’m Charles Nyafouna and I have been a resident of North Kensington for many years.

I want to tell you about the importance of the census and how it can help our community. This is why I joined as the Local Census Engagement Manager for North Kensington and Chelsea last year.

The Census is coming soon and by taking part, you can impact the decisions made on the services that shape our community. You can trust the census because your information is protected by law. This means Government officials cannot use census information for any other purposes.

Sunday 21 March is Census Day and you can fill in your census questionnaire online using your household’s digital code which you should receive in early March.

If you require a paper version, you can contact our call centre to request one. If you require additional help, you can visit our website at www.census.gov.uk where there’s a wide range of support services available including getting the census form in alternative languages, in braille or large text.
