MSCCA Co-Sponsors an Evening for Children’s Advocacy annually. The date for 2020 is January 27th. It’s free and you receive Professional Activity Units for participation and a boxed dinner.
We must advocate together for children, families and the child care/early education community. Your voice matters! The evening includes guest speakers including Senators and Delegates, learn more about how a bill becomes a law, meet with your own representatives/legislators and be recognized in the state house for the great work you do for children and families in Maryland!
It is a great opportunity to Meet with your legislators on January 27, 2020 and share a story or successes, as well as the importance of quality child care/early education programs, discuss child care issues: including increased and continued funding for child care scholarships/formerly subsidies, critical workforce shortages in our field, the impact of universal Pre-k recommendations from the Kirwan Commission and more.
Together we can make a difference!
