Nothing beats summer at Recreation Park! The park is full of people playing pickleball, kids running around the playground, people enjoying lunch in the park, and of course, co-ed adult softball returns. What is better than a swim at the Plunge or Hilltop Pool on a hot summer day or enjoying a concert in the park with family and friends? Let 's not forget about the events and delicious fruits that will be available at the Farmer’s Market! The Recreation team has a lot of fun planned and hope you can join us!

Show Us Your Summer

July is Parks and Recreation Month! To celebrate our favorite month, we invite you to participate in our Instagram contest. For children and adults, play is a vital part of our mental well being, physical health, and personal interactions. During Recreation and Parks Month, the National Recreation & Parks Associations is challenging everyone to get their play on with their local parks. Whether it’s summer camp, an adult sports league, painting class, swimming at the pool or chilling at one of our parks we want you to #showusyoursummer19 and tell us why your love Recreation and Parks!

How to Enter:

  1. Follow us! Account must be public
  2. Use #SHOWUSYOURSUMMER19
  3. Tag us in your photo
  4. Get back out and play some more!

Accounts must be public. Contest runs the month of July. Winners will be announced the first week of August and can pick up their prize package at the Checkout Building.
