TODAY: Mayor Harrell to Announce Nearly $15M for Community Safety Investments
Seattle – Today, Mayor Bruce Harrell will join the Seattle Human Services Department to announce the release of the 2025 Community Safety Request for Proposal (RFP).
The 2025 Community Safety RFP makes nearly $15 million available to community-based providers delivering a continuum of prevention, intervention, and restoration services. These investments will support people and neighborhoods directly impacted by gun violence, advancing strategies that build safety, healing, and opportunity.
These funded efforts are part of Mayor Harrell’s One Seattle Restoration Framework, a citywide commitment to ensuring that everyone — in every neighborhood — is safe and feels secure.
Press interested in attending should RSVP to Karissa Braxton. The event will be recorded by Seattle Channel and available online after the event here.
