TODAY: Mayor Harrell Signs Legislation Fortifying Local Protections for People Seeking Gender-Affirming and Reproductive Health Care
Seattle – Today, Mayor Bruce Harrell will honor Transgender Day of Visibility by joining City leaders and LGBTQ+ community advocates to sign new legislation that strengthens local protections for people seeking gender-affirming and reproductive health care services in Seattle.
The legislation was created in collaboration with LGBTQ+ City employees and the Seattle LGBTQ Commission and reaffirms the City’s commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ community members and being a safe, inclusive, and welcoming place for all people.
