As a reminder, we've completed the Seattle Transportation Plan (STP) after two years of public engagement and shared it with the City Council today. You can learn about the plan on the Seattle Transportation Plan website.
As part of the STP planning process, the City has prepared a non-project Final Environmental Impact Statement (Final EIS).
The Final EIS completes the environmental review process for a range of alternatives analyzed and evaluated in the Draft EIS. These alternatives represent bookends of potential transportation implementation scenarios, representing a spectrum of potential transportation project investment.
This EIS studies three alternatives illustrating different potential futures for the city’s transportation network considered in the STP. The three alternatives evaluate the effects of potential changes to the transportation network over a 20-year time horizon (to 2044).
