Week Ending May 15th:
- While site preparation will continue in the coming weeks and months, structure construction is now actively underway — Project progress will be visable. First up is the development of a permanent concrete shoulder on the Poplar side of the project.
- Other preparation work of wall demolition, saw cutting, and inserting drainage structures will continue on both sides of I-5. This will not anticipated to require road closures.
- The Interurban trail has successfully been rerouted along 33rd Ave W and Alderwood Mall Blvd.
- As the construction of the Poplar Bridge Extension requires lane channelization, please continue to practice additional caution near the project site.
