Invitation: Stakeholder Feedback Sessions on 2SHB 1701 Leasing Liquor Premises Rulemaking
As part of the Liquor and Cannabis Board’s (LCB) ongoing rulemaking for implementing Second Substitute House Bill (2SHB) 1701 on leasing liquor premises, the agency is hosting two online sessions to discuss proposed rule language drafted as part of the rulemaking process.
Both sessions cover new proposed draft rule language. More information about this rulemaking is available on the Current Rulemaking Activity webpage.
During the meeting, please keep the following in mind:
- Both sessions will be recorded and are subject to public disclosure. The purpose of the recordings is to make sure we collect all feedback. We will also post them on the Rules webpage so those who can’t attend can watch them later.
- The sessions’ PowerPoint presentation will also be posted on the Rules webpage after the sessions.
- The Teams chat feature will be off, but written questions can be submitted before, during, or after the sessions. You can send any feedback by email to the rules team at rules@lcb.wa.gov.
- Only the presenters will have their microphones on during the sessions. Participants will be muted and will only be unmuted when the sessions leader turns on their microphone.
- To ask questions during the sessions’ Q & A time, participants must use the raise hand function and they will then be unmuted to ask their question.
Please feel free to follow up with the Policy and Rules Team with any questions at rules@lcb.wa.gov.
