Extension for Alcohol Permit Expirations and Renewals

Many annual liquor permits are set to expire on Monday, June 30. As staff and customers work through the challenges of the new system, we are extending the expiration date for the following permits to Thursday, July 31:

• Class 1, 2, 6 Permits: Ethyl alcohol (not used for consumption)
• Class 4 Permit: Serving employees or invited guests at no charge
• Class 5 Permit: Importing alcohol for manufacturing
• Class 11 Permit: Bed and Breakfast
• Class 15 Permit: Alcohol tasting for college and university programs
• Class 16 Permit: Day Spa
• Class 21 Permit: Short Term Rental Operator

If you are an annual permit holder and have not renewed your permit, you will need to do so before July 31.

All permit renewals now happen in our Portal. To use it, you need to set up a Portal account. You will also need a Secure Access Washington (SAW) account. If you do not already have a SAW account, you can create one here: SAW Sign-Up.

Setting Up Your LCB Portal Account:

1. Click here to get started: LCB Portal Login.
2. Click LCB Portal Registration (bottom white button) to create an account.
3. You will be asked if you have done business with the LCB before. Click No.
4. On the next page, enter your personal information:
   1. First name, last name, date of birth
   2. Email address (must match SAW) and SAW username
5. Click submit. You can now return to the Portal login page and click the SAW Sign-In (top white button).

Once you have set up your LCB Portal account, follow the instructions on the Permit Renewal guide to renew. If you have any problems creating or accessing your Portal account, please call Licensing Customer Service at 360-664-1600.
