Invitation: Stakeholder Engagement Session on Trade Area Rulemaking – Nov. 17

As part of the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) ongoing rulemaking on Trade Areas, the agency is hosting a virtual, general stakeholder engagement session on Nov. 17, 2023 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. to discuss some of the changes that have been tentatively drafted as part of the rulemaking process.

The session’s focus will be the new proposed draft rule language on WAC 314-02-1071 related to Trade Areas.

* This is a general stakeholder engagement session. While Tribes are welcome to attend, separate sessions for Tribal representatives are being held. For information on Tribal sessions, please contact Marla Conwell at Tribal.liaison@lcb.wa.gov.

  • During the meeting questions and comments typed into the Teams chat will not be responded to in real time but will be addressed at the end of the session.
  • Microphones will be on mute at the beginning of the session and unmuted when a participant uses the “raise hand” function. Once a hand is raised, participants will be unmuted and allowed to ask their question.
