Invitation: Session on Cannabis Testing – Draft Conceptual Rules – Oct. 20, 2021

The Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) is hosting a Listen and Learn session about draft conceptual rules for cannabis quality control testing. The session is designed to get public and licensee feedback before the rules are finalized.

The LCB is considering changes to WAC 314-55-101, 314-55-102, and 314-55-1025 to update cannabis quality control sampling and testing requirements. The preproposal statement of inquiry (CR 101) was filed as WSR 18-17-041 on August 8, 2018 and can be viewed here.

Please review this guidance document, the draft conceptual rules, and the session agenda before the forum and come prepared to offer feedback and suggestions for changes to the draft.

To prepare for the session, there are several materials on the Cannabis, Vapor and Tobacco Rulemaking Activity website for review. These include, but are not limited to Responses to Common Themes from the CR 102 Supplemental Hearing held November 18, 2020, and recordings from three public sessions held in early 2021.
