Bremerton Fast Ferry Operating One-Boat Service on Tuesday – 12/17
Due to mechanical issues, Kitsap Transit will operate one-boat service on the Bremerton/Seattle route on Tuesday, December 17.
In the event of a mechanical issue with M/V Lady Swift, the remaining boat on the Bremerton route, Kitsap Transit will cancel additional sailings because it does not have a spare vessel. Customers should be prepared to make alternative travel plans in the event of canceled or delayed sailings.
To minimize disruption to our Bremerton Fast Ferry passengers, Southworth Fast Ferry will temporarily operate extra sailings and an extra bus between the Southworth Ferry Terminal and Port Orchard Ferry Dock. See details below after the Bremerton Fast Ferry information.
We are working as quickly as possible to restore two-boat service on the Bremerton/Seattle route. M/V Rich Passage 1 is having an engine replaced and is expected to return to service soon, while M/V Reliance is in a shipyard for scheduled maintenance and is expected to return to service in January 2025.
The following Bremerton Fast Ferry sailings will be canceled:
Canceled sailings from Bremerton:
- 4:40 AM, 6:05 AM, 7:25 AM, 8:35 AM, 9:50 AM
- 3:45 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:20 PM, 7:40 PM
Canceled sailings from Seattle:
- 5:20 AM, 6:45 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:10 AM, 10:25 AM
- 4:25 PM, 5:40 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:20 PM
The following Bremerton fast ferry sailings will operate:
Sailings operating from Bremerton:
- 5:25 AM, 6:45 AM, 8:05 AM, 9:15 AM, 10:25 AM
- 1:50 PM, 3:05 PM, 4:25 PM, 5:45 PM, 7:05 PM, 9:00 PM
Sailings operating from Seattle:
- 6:05 AM, 7:25 AM, 8:40 AM, 9:50 AM, 11:00 AM
- 2:25 PM, 3:45 PM, 5:05 PM, 6:25 PM, 7:40 PM, 9:40 PM

Southworth Fast Ferry Sailings Added on Tuesday – 12/17
Kitsap Transit has temporarily added sailings to the Southworth Fast Ferry schedule to help customers affected by the Bremerton Fast Ferry service disruption.
Additional sailings from Southworth to Seattle:
- 9:45 AM, 11:10 AM, 12:35 PM, 1:55 PM
Additional sailings from Seattle to Southworth:
- 9:15 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:50 AM, 1:15 PM
The crossing time on the Southworth/Seattle route is approximately 26 minutes.

In addition, extra bus service has been added between Southworth Ferry Terminal and Port Orchard Ferry Dock to assist passengers bound for Bremerton via the Port Orchard Foot Ferry.
The bus will follow this route from Port Orchard Ferry Dock: It will travel on Bay Street, Bethel Avenue, Mile Hill Drive and Southworth Drive, ending its trip in the Southworth Ferry Terminal parking lot. The bus will return to the Port Orchard Ferry Dock along the same route.

Bus departures from Southworth to Port Orchard Ferry Dock:
- The bus will wait for the Southworth Fast Ferry to arrive and depart after the ferry's passengers have boarded.
