(Port Orchard, WA) - Kitsap County Public Works is applying an asphalt overlay of approximately 1 mile of Silverdale Way NW from Bucklin Hill Road to Waaga Way (excluding the Myhre Road intersection) and approximately 1000 lineal feet of Bucklin Hill Road from Silverdale Way NW to Blaine Ave NW (excluding the Silverdale Way NW intersection). The project also includes pedestrian improvements at intersections, signal improvements at Silverdale Way NW and NW Randall Way, and storm main replacements. Construction is set to begin on March 24 and is expected to be completed by fall 2025, weather permitting.
Work includes:
- New asphalt overlay to extend pavement life
- Pedestrian & signal upgrades for better accessibility
- Stormwater system replacements
Construction begins March 24, 2025
- Night work: Monday through Friday, 6 PM – 6 AM (one-lane, two-way traffic)
- Day work: Monday through Friday, 6 AM – 6 PM (lane closures, driveway access maintained)
