Kitsap County Courthouse and all Port Orchard County offices closed Tuesday, February 25 due to power outages.
Due to ongoing power outages, the Kitsap County Courthouse and all Port Orchard County administrative offices will remain closed Tuesday, February 25. The courts had originally announced a delay, but are now closed for the day.
Some Kitsap County facilities are open. These include the Kitsap County Parks office and Silverdale Recycling & Garbage Facility. Olympic View Transfer Station is open. However, the recycling area is closed due to safety risks.
The public is also advised that many road closures are in effect due to downed trees and wires. Visit kcowa.us/roadreport for updates.

During inclement weather, waste collection services may be on a delay. WM customers can receive service alerts via text or email, or by checking the Service Alert page for your area. Log in to your WM account to select communications preferences. Bainbridge Disposal and City of Poulsbo customers can check their haulers' websites for delays. Kitsap County doesn't oversee any collection services, so we don't have information about service delays you may experience. Please contact your hauler directly.
