What broken items can be brought to this event?
Kitsap residents are welcome to bring one or two items per event. Fixers will attempt repairs on one item at a time. If there’s time, you can join the line again with your second item. However, we may limit repairs to one item if the event is busy.
At this event, fixers will attempt to repair:
- mendable clothing and textiles like tablecloths, curtains, jeans, and more (sorry, no zippers)
- computers and PCs (sorry, no printers)
- bikes (minor repairs)
- jewelry
- metal items that need small welding jobs
- small household appliances like lamps, vacuums, toasters, and more!
Specialty services available
Bainbridge BARN volunteers will help with minor welding jobs using their metal fabrication studio and minor plastic repairs using their tech lab. All participants using this service must check in at the Fix-it Fair check in table.
Visit our Fix-it Fair webpage for more information on items not accepted and how to prepare before the event.
RSVP requested
Let us know what you're bringing so our fixers can prepare. This is not an appointment and is not required. All of our events are first-come, first-served.
