Annual Kitsap County Kids’ Day. It’s a FREE fire and life safety event for kids of all ages. It’s held each year at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and features inside booths, entertainment and food, as well as an entire outdoor area with “touch-a-truck” displays and demonstrations by our Firefighters.
Enjoy live Fire & Rescue demonstrations, entertainment, over 40 booths, food, free bike helmets, bounce house, fire engines, Airlift Northwest helicopter and so much more.

Rides take place the 2nd and 4th Saturday starting in April and ending in October between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. All rides are free, but they do accept donations to cover the cost of maintaining the track and trains. This is a Fishing Kids event designed to provide all children, ages 5-14, the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. 300 children will have the opportunity to receive a Fishing Kids t-shirt and rod & reel to keep! The kids will fish in groups on-shore for up to 45 minutes receiving instruction by experienced anglers on angling techniques and environmental stewardship. The parents are encouraged to participate with their children and prior to each fishing session each group receives a tutorial

Volunteer check-in at the Kitsap Sun Pavilion begins at 7:30 a.m. on Friday the 28th. Pre-Register Today (registrations completed by May 31st are entered in the Tacoma Rainiers Ticket drawing) to make check-in go more smoothly. It also helps the project sites be better prepared too!

Morning Agenda: light breakfast, morning rally & thank you's, a bit of fun, drawing for Tacoma Rainiers Tix, pick up lunches and t-shirts, disburse to do good.

SolFest is a Pacific Northwest three-day event being curated by The Chaldai Foundation LLC. Our goal is to bring together information, new concepts, awareness and a wide variety of entertainment and activities that will not only inspire, but impassion participants with the experience. Experience Summer Solstice through the Medieval Ages, the Information and Space Age, and the Mystic Age. There are a wide variety of vendors, foods, entertainers, Ufologist Guest Panel featuring Derrell Sims (The Alien Hunter) and Jerry Wills (UFO Investigator) with too many to list here. Hot Foot 5K Run Logo

Annual Hot Foot 5K Trail Run/Walk (Presented by South Kitsap Fire Rescue Volunteer Association)

South Kitsap Regional Park - 2841 SE Lund Ave, Port Orchard
9:00 a.m. 5K start (8:45 a.m. 1 mile start)

Day of Race registration and packet pick up is at South Kitsap Regional Park from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
Preregistration: $10 for 5K, $8 for 1 mile, Day of Race Registration: $15, T-shirts available while supplies last: $12 pre-registration, $15 DOR
Proceeds benefit the South Kitsap Fire Rescue Volunteer Association Community Scholarship Fund and Fathoms O Fun Public 4th of July Fireworks.
Course is accurately measured and will have mile markers. It begins on the perimeter trail cornering the park. The remainder of the course is along internal trails with spotted open areas. Proper athletic attire and footwear are required. Event Start, Finish and Registration is at the end of the parking lot of the Jackson entrance to the park.
