A popular event on the Kitsap Peninsula, this annual sale features thousands of plant starts, including veggies, herbs, perennials, annuals, ground covers, shrubs and trees. Also, just in time for Mother's Day, are a wide variety of flower arrangements, robust houseplants, and a host of delicious pies, cakes, pastries and cookies to help shower Mom with love. Several locally donated garden items and services will also be raffled off. Dozens of garden club members will be on hand to help you in every way, and there will also be panel of Master Gardeners on site to offer expert consultations. Stottlemeyer NW Epic Series

Stottlemeyer NW Epic Series
Saturday, May 11th 
Start/finish is located just 1/3 of a Mile South of Port Gamble on US-104.
Annual 17/30/60 mile mountain bike race starting and finishing at Stottlmeyer Park just outside of Port Gamble. Technical single-track followed by fast gravel trails. Registration is limited to 500 total riders.  Registration fees include insurance, logo'ed swag, bibs, fully stocked aid stations, post race barbecue and live music for racers to refuel and enjoy, awards, etc.

Kitsap Live Steamers Public Run Day (Miniature Train Rides)

South Kitsap Regional Park - 3101 SE Marbeth Ln, Port Orchard

Rides take place the 2nd and 4th Saturday starting in April and ending in October between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. All rides are free, but they do accept donations to cover the cost of maintaining the track and trains. Public Works Tire Round-Up Event
Saturday, May 25th      
Kitsap County Fairgrounds & Events Center - 1200 NW Fairgrounds Rd, Bremerton
Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.      
This event allows members of the public to drop off up to ten tires per individual free of charge. Passenger and light truck tires only. With or without rims. Customers must unload tires themselves. Loads should be secured with straps, cords, or chains, and be covered with a tarp or a net. Sponsored by Kitsap County Solid Waste Division and Washington Department of Ecology.
