The City of Kirkland and the Department of Ecology would like to help your vehicle repair business reduce its exposure of toxic chemicals by switching to safer degreasers.
Solvent-based degreasers contain chemicals that are harmful to human health and the environment. Businesses that want to make the switch to safer degreaser options may qualify for reimbursement up to $10,000 to purchase new equipment. Funding is limited so contact us today to learn if you are eligible for the program.Â
More information can be found on the City of Kirkland Storm and Surface water webpage (Business Pollution Prevention).
Kirkland’s own Carburetor Connection made the switch to an aqueous parts washer. Thank you, Carburetor Connection, for protecting yourself, your staff, and the environment.
