Intersection to open today: 16^th Ave SW and SW 104^th St – Work Continues through April 18

Opening Early: Intersection of 16^th Ave SW and SW 104^th St will open Friday, March 28th.

Crews have been hard at work during the two-week closure of the intersection at 16^th Ave SW and SW 104^th St in White Center. The closure was necessary so that pipes could be replaced beneath the north half of the intersection. Crews plan to reopen the intersection to travelers today, March 28, 2025. Please check MyCommute for the latest information.

Work continues through mid-April

Expect lane restrictions and reduced parking on the north side of SW 104th Street between 15th Avenue SW and 17th Avenue SW, through April 18. This will be the final phase of the project. This work is weather-dependent, and dates are subject to change.
