Fireside chat: Family engagement in treatment of youth with mental health and substance abuse disorders

Webinar: Friday, June 14, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Dr. Billina Shaw, Senior Medical Advisor at SAMHSA’s Center for Mental Health Services, and Andrea Goetz, Executive Director, Carelon Behavioral Health's Child and Family Division, will participate in a virtual fireside chat to discuss strategies, best practices and tools to address youth and family engagement in behavioral health treatment.

Objectives:

Address family engagement within treatment of youth mental health and substance use disorder
Discuss integration and expansion of youth and family peer support workforce
Explore strategies in addressing delays in access to appropriate behavioral health treatment at multiple levels of care
