Updated ProviderOne for Social Services Billing Guides
The ProviderOne for Social Services Billing Guides have been updated effective January 1, 2026. Changes include updated contact information, updated formatting, clarification of language and current policies, and page reorganization. Providers and billers can review the 'Revision History' at the end of each guide to see what has changed. Social Services Providers and billers should discard any previously saved or printed guides and use the new guides going forward.
How to use the guides
The ProviderOne for Social Services Guides are for DSHS-contracted & AAA-contracted Social Services Providers (i.e., AFHs, ALFs, PDNs, Nurse Delegators, Home Care Agencies, etc.) who receive payment via the ProviderOne system for authorized Social Services. The guides explain how to:
- View and update your ProviderOne account information
- Add additional users to your ProviderOne account
- View your Social Services Authorization List
- Submit, adjust, and void claims
- Set up claim templates
- Create and submit DAT claim files
- View your claims and payments
- Read and understand the remittance advice (RA)
Social Services Providers and billers are expected to utilize the guides to assist with understanding authorizations, claiming, and payments.
Guide translation
The ProviderOne for Social Services Guides are written in English, however, online tools such as Google Translate, Microsoft Edge Translate Feature, and Adobe Acrobat's AI Assistant allow you to translate documents into a different language. Providers whose primary language is not English may find these tools helpful when viewing the guides.
