Request for Applications
The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is pleased to announce the availability of two funding opportunities.
The first is for program evaluation capacity building for community-based child abuse and neglect prevention (CBCAP) programs. We invite Requests for Applications (RFAs) from Washington state organizations interested in child abuse and neglect prevention efforts to submit a letter of intent to apply by 5 p.m. on April 30, 2025.
The RFA guidance is available online. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. on May 14, 2025.
We will host an Applicant Webinar from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on April 8, 2025. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the funding opportunity and ask questions.
The second opportunity is for Perinatal Mental Health community capacity building. We invite Requests for Applications (RFAs) from Washington state organizations interested in child abuse and neglect prevention efforts to apply by 5 p.m. on May 7, 2025. The RFA guidance is available online.
We will host an Applicant Webinar from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on April 10, 2025. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the funding opportunity and ask questions.
The Funding Opportunities webpage will be updated with FAQs about the CBCAP RFA and Perinatal Mental Health RFA every Monday afternoon starting April 18, 2025. The final day to submit questions for the CBCAP RFA is 5 p.m. on May 1, 2025, and for the Perinatal Mental Health RFA it is 5 p.m. on April 24, 2025.
