WA CAP by Binti - Weekly Update -January 6, 2022

The Washington Caregiver Application Portal by Binti (WA CAP) team is looking toward Deliverables three and four related to Child-Placing Agencies (CPAs). We assigned each of the 45 CPAs using Binti to one of nine cohorts. Each CPA will receive a homework document to help them prepare for their unique mapping process. Additionally, WA CAP Customer Support Specialists will support each cohort along the way.

The first cohort is scheduled to occur from Feb. 7, 2022, to Mar. 4, 2022, and serves as a Pilot. It includes the following CPAs:

  1. A Child’s Hope (Region 1)
  2. Compass Health (Region 3)
  3. Secret Harbor (Region 3)
  4. Skookum Kids (Region 3)

All other CPAs will complete the mapping process according to this schedule:

Cohort two: March 3 to April 4

Camas Path, Morning Star, United Indians of All Tribes Foundation, YMCA

Cohort three: March 21 to April 15

Amara, Community & Family Services Foundation, Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Olive Crest

Cohort four: April 4-24

Catholic Community Services Southwest, Comprehensive Life Resources, Foster First, Fostering Solutions

Cohort five: April 18 to May 13

City Ministries, Community Youth Services, Friends of Youth, Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, Puyallup Tribe Children’s Services

Cohort six: May 2-27

Beautiful Birds Family Services, Lutheran Community Services Northwest, Mullen-Polk Foundation, Yakama Nation Nak Nu We Sha, Youthnet

Cohort seven: May 16 to June 10

James Matthew Commission (JMS) Foster Families, K Connections, Life Services of Spokane, Lorene’s Place, Service Alternatives, Spokane Tribe of Indians, Synergy Foster Support Services, The HUB of Pierce County

Cohort eight: May 30 to June 24

Casey Family Programs, Choice Adoptions, Excelsior Wellness Center, Pierce County Alliance

Cohort nine: June 13 to July 8

Antioch Adoptions, Better Together Foster Care, Children’s Home Society, Hand in Hand, Kid Sense, Quinault Family Services, South Puget Intertribal Planning Agency
