The physics you forgot, in 5 minute bites
No math, just laughs
Curious about time, space, and the strange rules that run our universe? Join Whitman College physics students at the Walla Walla Public Library on Wednesday April 1, 2026 at 2:00 pm and Thursday April 2, 2026 at 10:15 am, to learn how relativity and quantum physics shape our world--from GPS to lasers and cable TV. Hear fun, fast, stand-up–style “elevator pitches” designed for everyone. No equations, no prior physics needed—just clear stories, clever analogies, and aha! moments that make modern physics feel human, surprising, and accessible. Come for learning, laughter, and a fresh way to see the world around you.
- This event is free and open to the public.
