Take the Virginia Faith-Based Affordable Housing Survey
|
Faith-based organizations own over 74,000 acres of land in Virginia, giving these entities a unique opportunity to connect their mission and faith with efforts to address affordable housing challenges.
Virginia Housing is working to connect with faith-based organizations and houses of worship to understand their levels of interests and needs in this area, all with the goal of creating new pathways for addressing housing instability and development. By working together, we can turn faith-owned land into community assets that strengthen congregations and families while creating new housing opportunities for the Virginians that need them.
To do that, we want to hear from you. Whether you are affiliated with a faith-based organization, work within local government or are a developer, please take the survey so that we can learn more about you. We want your voice to help shape our work! Please take the survey here or reach out to Strategic Housing Officer Candice Turner with questions. Survey closes May 26th!
