Fairfax High School Band Dominates Fall Competitions
When Noah Freeman was hired over the summer of 2022 to take over the Fairfax High School (FHS) band program, he knew he was getting a late start. Freeman had to immediately jump in and learn a new program with over 100 students. He would quickly realize he was going to be working with some talented and dedicated students.

Fairfax Academy Student Performs in NYC with Tony Award Winner Ben Platt.
Fairfax Academy for the Communications and the Arts senior Sophia Manicone fulfilled a lifelong dream and performed in the New York City Center’s Gala production of the Tony-winning musical, Parade. Manicone beat out over 500 other performers vying for the role of Iola Stover with a video submission and was called up to New York to audition in person.
