A Legacy of Service
Arlington County is honoring the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a series of events this holiday weekend.
The County will hold a special tribute, titled Stones of Hope, on Sunday Jan. 14. Register below to attend in person or attend virtually via livestream.
Volunteer Arlingtonwill also host the third annual MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Washington-Liberty High School.
Keep an eye on the mailbox. Annual real estate property assessments are going out this month. In you're in a hurry, starting Jan. 12 (after 6 p.m.) you can look up your 2024 property assessment online.
The Arlington Addiction Recovery Initiative (AARI) needs volunteers to tackle the opioid epidemic. Mark your calendars and join an upcoming info session.

An annual STEM event returns with free fun for the whole family. Register for "Paint, Build, Create" at Fairlington Community Center on Jan. 16.
Become a public safety partner. Register your private security camera. This free and optional program enables Arlington public safety agencies to contact you in the event an incident occurs in your area.
